All first-year students are assigned a primary advisor who works individually with them to provide academic guidance, assistance with academic policies and requirements, resources for academic support and help with processing special forms. Advising Office staff and UTampa faculty collaborate to offer a complete undergraduate advising program.

  • First-year students are assigned to a primary advisor from the staff in the Academic Advising Office.
  • Transfer and continuing students are assigned a primary advisor within their major. Students can find contact information for their assigned primary advisor in Workday by clicking on the Academics tab.

Understanding what resources are available to support students is crucial. With so many wonderful campus resources, it can be difficult to figure out where to start. PALs have in-depth knowledge of campus resources and are ready to recommend relevant resources to support you.
